PrintThis rich and satisfying vegan/gluten-free fudge is super easy to make, requiring minimal ingredients. Pop them into the food processor and into the fridge, and you have the most heavenly date and almond butter fudge ever! Perfect to keep in the freezer for when you’re in the mood for something sweet and delicious.
Dates are what I like to call nature’s candy, they are full of plant-based fiber and natural sugar, and have a caramelly gooey-ness to them that cannot be duplicated. The roasted almond butter brings a dose of healthy fats into the mix, unsaturated fats that can help lower blood cholesterol and fight against heart disease. A win-win!
Want to make this a chocolate fudge??
Simply add a little less almond butter, and 2-3 TBSP cup raw cacao powder and 1-2 TBSP of raw cacao nibs to give it a smooth, chocolatey flavor! That will be my next treat to make for Christmas time…maybe I’ll even add a little peppermint oil to the mix to have some mint chocolate fudge…oh the ideas are flowing!
