They are:
They are also gluten-free and vegan, for those that avoid certain ingredients (out of medical necessity or ethical reasons). Try these bars to leave your body feeling happy & nourished.
The crust is made from a blend of coconut oil, almond flour, and maple syrup. Easy to blend using simple ingredients! Almond flour has a bit more protein and heart-healthy fats than your average flour or all purpose baking flour, making it a great option if you’re practicing gentle nutrition, and adding in more nutrient-dense foods. It’s also a great option for those that have to follow a gluten-free diet due to IBS or Celiac Disease. But feel free to use regular flour here, too! There’s place for both in our overall eating pattern, and neither is “better” or “worse”. All foods fit in a balanced eating pattern. 🙂
